5No Cheap plastic here!
By Bryan
I was concerned about having to cut my grill up when other products were bolt on. I decided to go with this one since the price was as good if not better than other advertised products / sellers.

The packaging was fantastic. boxed, padded, bubble wrapped, and foam blocks. Not a scratch anywhere when I opened it!
Everything on this grill insert is METAL. Absolutely no plastic anywhere, including the mounting hardware. This thing was designed to last!

Installation took some time but I enjoy that kind of stuff. Usind my sawzall to cut the plastic OEM lattice out of the grill made things go a lot faster. Dremel tool to grind down the plastic nubs.
When drilling holes to install the mounting tabs it can cause a little anxiety but rest assured there is room to make adjustments once the holes are drilled. Just double check your work and alignment before drilling.
I used a small flat blade screwdriver to open the metal tabs the screws screw in to and broke one of them. It was still useable, it just didn't have the ability to "clamp" to the mounting bracket.
After initial alignments and verifications I took the insert out and painted the grill and the Chevy emblem. I used rubber coating on the emblem and it looks AWESOME with the new inserts!
