Stainless Speed Grille

Installed on a 2001 Silverado that had some parts of the OEM grille grate broken out. The Silverado grille is easy to remove and mine had the LS chrome grate. I taped off and sprayed the chrome grate with black ENGINE paint. I have found that engine paint sticks good, holds up well and resists chemicals. I did not want the OEM grille to show through the speed grille and being black you don't see it at all. The speed grille gets held in place by push on hardened spring clips. I am very pleased with the look and the stainless will maintain its appearance. Added a chrome bow tie emblem at the same time. Updated the look of the truck, good for a few more years of use.
