Right on Time

Was originally scheduled to arrive by 16 May but changed and arrived 26 April so kudos on delivery! The grille arrived with instructions and required hardware. In looking at that hardware is the reason I only gave four stars. The bolts for the upper portion of the grille were nor steel and the lower portion is to be held in place by sheet metal screws going into clip on nuts / catches. I figured that for something on a truck and going to receive vibrations from the engine and road surface conducted through the body that these were a little on the weak side. They may have held with no problem forever but I decided to use the bolts and nuts / catches from my factory grille which were more sturdy material. be advised that if you decide to do this, the holes on the top side will have to be widened to accept the factory bolts and the edges of the two nuts / catches for the left and right outside positions on the bottom will have to be ground down slightly because they're a lit tle too wide for the receiver slots. If you're not handy with a drill or dremel I would stay with the hardware that comes with the grille because it is plastic and you have to be careful with the above mods or you punch a hole through or grind off a side of the retaining slots. Back to the reason i got the grille though, It looks great and works perfect with my ongoing process of blacking out the truck by removing all shinny stuff. If you want a black "largemouth" grille for your Dodge, you can't beat this look for the price and it is one of only two or three choices you have for all black without painting a grille yourself. I highly recommend this item. I plan on adding a before / after picture tomorrow when I can get a daylight shot of the new grille.

looks great * couldn't be happier with the ease of instal .. the skrews used to attach could be a little stronger .. the head of one broke clean off while I was tightening it ..
