Perfect fit!

I looked all over the internet trying to find a replacement (lower) front mesh grill for my 2006 Mazda 3 hatchback . I found plenty of 3rd party grills for sedans for as low as $12 + S&H but none would fit (even after verifying VIN numbers with distributors). I don't know why the hatchback's version is so much more expensive but, none the less, I found this one for less than $80 and my local mazda dealer wanted $95 + tax.

This grill fits perfect and once the old grill was removed (which didn't take long since half of it was missing) it took all of two seconds to snap into place. No rattles from being too loose. If you do have to replace a (mainly intact) grill, I suggest cutting all the mesh out of the existing grill and reaching through the opening with a screwdriver to release the tabs before removing all the plastic guards out from underneath the bumper.

I ordered from a 3rd party since Amazon didn't have it and I was surprised how soon it arrived .
